Every manuscript submitted to JHAI undergoes double-blind peer review, in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the evaluation process. Manuscripts are assessed on originality, methodological rigour, significance of contribution, clarity of presentation, and relevance to the journal's scope. Authors typically receive a first decision within 6–8 weeks of submission. The editorial board reserves the right to desk-reject manuscripts that do not meet the minimum quality or scope criteria without external review.
