Indexing and Abstracting
JASAT published its first issue in September 2026. It is not yet listed in any citation database and does not report a CiteScore, Impact Factor, SJR or h-index. This page sets out what is in place now and which services the journal plans to apply to. It will be updated each time a listing is granted.
Current status
| Item | Status |
|---|---|
| ISSN | Forthcoming |
| DOI (Crossref) | Not yet registered. Articles are cited by their permanent URL until then. |
| ORCID | Recorded for every author who supplies one |
| OAI-PMH metadata | Available from first publication |
| Google Scholar metadata | Embedded in every article page |
Metadata available now
- OAI-PMH endpoint: https://landing.wrunion.org/ojs/index.php/jasat/oai (Dublin Core and other standard formats)
- Google Scholar and Dublin Core meta tags on each article page, so articles can be found once Google Scholar crawls them
- RSS and Atom feeds for the current issue and announcements
Plans
The journal intends to apply to the following services in this order, as each one's eligibility rules are met:
- ISSN, then Crossref DOI registration and the ROAD directory
- Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), once the journal has a registered ISSN and the minimum number of published articles
- Scopus and Web of Science, once there is a sustained publication and citation record
None of these listings is held today, and the journal will not describe itself as indexed in any of them until it is.
