About the Journal

The Journal of Business Strategy and Management Review (JBSMR) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by World Research Union. The journal reports original research in management science and strategic practice, providing an academic platform for scholars and practitioners across industries to share methodologically sound work that advances both the theory and the practice of business strategy and management.

Aims and Scope

JBSMR publishes original research articles, systematic reviews, and brief communications within business strategy and management. Topics within scope include:

  • Corporate and competitive strategy
  • Organizational change and transformation
  • Leadership and strategic human resource management
  • Global business and international management
  • Innovation management and entrepreneurship
  • Sustainable and ESG-aligned business models
  • Mergers, acquisitions, and strategic alliances
  • Digital transformation and platform strategy

Peer Review

All submissions undergo double-blind peer review, in which authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the evaluation. Manuscripts are assessed on originality, methodological rigor, significance of contribution, clarity of presentation, and relevance to scope. The editorial board may desk-reject manuscripts that fall outside the scope or below the minimum quality threshold without external review.

Open Access and Licensing

JBSMR is fully open access. All articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, and authors retain copyright. No article processing charges apply to submissions received on or before 31 December 2029.

Publication and Indexing

The journal publishes quarterly. Its ISSN is forthcoming, and applications to indexing and abstracting services will be made once the journal meets the eligibility requirements of each service. JBSMR follows the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in all editorial decisions.
